Heavy Civil Engineering
Strong project management and communication skills allow
us to excel at coordinating issues with multiple regulatory and jurisdictional
agencies
The SEH Heavy Civil Market
Center specializes in complex civil engineering projects such as flood control
facilities, dams, landfills, harbors/marinas, structural retaining walls
and larger geotechnical projects such as reinforced slopes and embankments
over soft ground and addressing brownfield issues.
Our staff experience extends
from addressing brownfield sites for local governments with the redevelopment
of abandoned or contaminated properties to designing a roadway embankment
safely across soft compressible soils.
Highly skilled civil, geotechnical, water resources, environmental,
mechanical and structural engineers work in concert to accomplish each client’s
goals, whether it be stream restoration along major waterways such as the
Mississippi River, or developing flood control structures and performing
insurance studies that help protect families and businesses from the catastrophic
aftermath of historical rainfall patterns.
Our professionals’ strong project management and communication skills
allow them to excel at coordinating issues with multiple regulatory and jurisdictional
agencies—whether it be permitting, engineering, design or construction
management consensus.
